The ICOSA 2010 calls for the submission of high quality papers for oral and poster presentations. Abstracts and full papers must be in English. A one-page abstract should be formatted in Word 2003/2007 (Trebuchet MS; 1 space; includes Introduction, objective, Methods, Results and Discussion, References; 3 keywords; email and address of corresponding author). Potential applicants interested in participating at presentations should send a completed registration form and a one-page abstract by e-mail (aquacultureindonesia(at)gmail(dot)com). Deadline to receive abstracts is August 16st, 2010. Specific guidelines for abstract now is available in website www.aquaculture-mai.org

Full papers should be prepared following the instructions posted on the conference website and submitted by September 20st, 2010. Submission of the full papers by email should be accompanied by a completed registration form with a proof of your payment (attached in PDF). The full papers will be peer-reviewed, and accepted papers with high quality will be selected and published in the scientific journal of Aquacultura Indonesiana on behalf of Indonesian Aquaculture Society. The papers will not be published in the journal if the papers have been published or are under consideration for publication elsewhere. This includes papers whose substance has been published previously in conference or symposium proceedings, reports, magazines. Prior publication in the journal, the author will be confirmed for the agreement for publication. However, other accepted papers will be published in a conference proceeding. The papers which will be published in the proceeding must have not been published yet elsewhere. No charge is for publication of the papers in the proceeding, however the papers published in the journal will be charged for a publication fee under the journal regulation.

Abstracts and full papers with authors whose native language is not English should seek assistance with syntax, grammar, and style from someone proficient in written English. This will help ensure that the merit of the paper is judged on scientific and technical grounds rather than clarity of writing. Abstracts and full papers sent by fax or in disc will not be accepted.

Due to the limited number of time slots for oral presentations, authors are encouraged to consider poster presentations. Some papers submitted for oral presentation may have to be presented as posters. Each oral presenter will be given 15 minutes for a presentation, plus 5 minutes for questions.
